Winter/Spring 2011-2012 Activity Guide On-Line Become a fan on our Facebook	Play Days WinterCamp December 21st - 23rd, 26th - 30st and January 2nd & 3rd School is out and it’s the perfect time to head to the NRC. We have ten days full of activities to keep you busy having fun! From gym games and movies to swimming and holiday themed snacks, the NRC is the place to be this winter! Time: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM Fee: $28 per day $190 for all ten days; $160 for each additional child $33 per adventure day Ages: 5-12 Location: NRC Sunflower Room Note: Please register by Friday, December 16th. Please bring a sack lunch, jacket or coat, swimsuit, and towel each day. December 23rd and 28th are Adventure Days (Adventure days are included in the ten day price). School's Out Play Day January 16th, February 20th, April 6th & April 9th The Recreation Center is the place to be when school is out for the day. Sure the teachers have to work - but we have to play. Games in the gym, swimming, movies, video games and great snacks add up to one great day. Don't miss out! Please bring a sack lunch, swimsuit and towel each day. Time: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM Fee: $28 per day Ages: 5 - 12 years Location: NRC Sunflower Room Note: Please pre-register two days prior to each Play Day. Spring Break Camp Monday, March 19th - Friday, March 23rd Kids give yourself a break, spring into action and escape being bored with some great games, swimming and more during camp. Don’t miss out! Time: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM Fee: $28 per day $95 for the week; $80 for each additional child $33 per adventure day Ages: 5-12 Location: NRC Sunflower Room Note: Please pre-register by Thursday, March 15th. Please bring a sack lunch, swimsuit and towel each day. Tuesday, March 20th and Thursday, March 22nd are Adventure Days (Adventure days are included in the week price). Discovery Camp 2011 It’s the place to be for summer fun! We’ve spent all winter planning new and exciting things for the entire summer. You won’t want to miss a day! And on top of that, we will go on our favorite field trips and a few new places. Early registration is a must as space is limited. Enrollment packets will be available beginning April 4th. A $25 processing fee will be required for each family. The money will be applied when the children sign up for a full week. Our program is a state licensed day care and an SRS approved program. Camp Begins: Thursday, May 26th - Friday, August 12th When: Monday - Friday Time: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM Fee: $95 per week/$28 per day, *Each Additional Child: $80 per week* Ages: 5 - 12 Note: Paperwork for each child must be completed BEFORE attendance in the program. FEES are due PRIOR to attendance or your child will not be allowed to stay. Adventure Days Time: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM Fee: $33/day (Adventure Days are included in your weekly fee for Discovery Camp) Ages: 5 - 12 Note: Please consult website at www.newtonrec.org or inquire at the NRC front desk for a list of destinations and times for Adventure Day field trips after May 9th. Discovery Camp Parents Meeting Monday, May 16th If you are planning on your child participating in the 2010 Summer Discovery Camp program please plan on attending this informational meeting. The summer staff will be there for parents/guardians to meet. Our rules and payment policies will be discussed as well as other topics including summer camp swim lessons and Adventure Day trips.
