Personal Training


 

Personal training consists of one-on-one hourly sessions with NRC’s qualified trainers. During these sessions, members are introduced to new exercises, instructed in proper technique, and given advice on nutrition. Sessions usually include a cardiovascular warm-up followed by strength training and ends with stretching.

Who would benefit from Personal Training?
Everyone! We can help you gain speed and strength for a specific sport, or help you with goals of weight loss or gain. Whatever your goal is, we will help you achieve it!

Fee

Personal Trainers can help you reach your ultimate goals by setting and achieving smaller ones along the way. We want you to feel confident about your body and be comfortable with your exercises.

Scheduling Sessions
Personal training sessions are available by appointment by calling the Newton Recreation Commission at (316) 283-7330.

Program Consultation
Meet with a personal trainer and have a program specifically designed for your goals. Minimum $30, price varies according to complexity.

Staff Karen D. Lehman, CSCS; Tracie Strain ACE Certified Personal Trainer
Karen graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2001 and is a National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Tracie is an American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer with 15 years of experience.
