Kids Night Out
Friday, December 18th

Parents this is your chance to get your holiday shopping done without your kids! Drop them off at the Newton Activity Center for an evening of games, swimming, and crafts.
Time: 6:00 PM-10:00 PM
Fee: $10/$13
Ages: 5-12 years
Location: NRC Sunflower Room
Minimum Enrollment: 8
Note: Children need swimming suits and towels. Pizza and drinks will be provided.

Holiday Goodies
Monday, December 21st

Start the holidays off right with this festive cooking session. Santa's, snowmen, and reindeer come alive in this class!

Pepsi Family Fun Night
Friday, January 15th

Join the NRC for a night full of games, prizes, and all around FUN! We will have program demonstrations, inflatable bounce houses, and raffle drawings. There will be a balloon drop at 8:45 PM. Mi Mama's Recipes will be here serving food 6-9 PM.

Baby-Sitting Clinic
Saturday, January 16th

This course gives young people ages 11-15 the skills and confidence to care for infants through school-aged children. This is an interactive and activity- based program that builds self-confidence and competence by practicing decision-making and managing real-life situations. Topics include safety issues, preventing injuries and illnesses, basic childcare, first aid, care for choking and age-appropriate behavior and play.
Time: 9:00 AM -3:30 PM
Fee: $45/$56
Ages: 11 - 15 years
Location: NRC Cottonwood Room
Registration Deadline: Tuesday, January 12th
Note: Each class is limited to 10 people. All participants must bring a sack lunch. This is an American Red Cross Course.

Daddy Daughter Date Night
Friday, February 12th

Attention Dads! Come spend the evening with your Favorite Sweetie! There will be father daughter bonding events throughout the evening as well as a candle-light dinner. Don't miss the chance to show your little girl(s) how special they really are.

Recycled Litterbugs
Mondays, March 1st - March 29th

Have you ever been playing at the park or on a walk by the creek and noticed all of the trash just laying around? In this class we will get down and dirty by cleaning up these areas. We will clean up the "trash" we've found and turn it into art. Don't be a litterbug and join us today! No Class on March 15th

Eggstravaganza
Friday, April 2nd

Hunting Easter eggs is often an important activity for youngsters. Join the NRC in celebrating this time honored tradition. With us, there is not an egg limit and some of the eggs will contain prizes or coupons! We'll have the field marked off according to age for the hunts. Join us at the 4-H building for a pancake supper from 5:30 - 7:00pm.
